Mothercare Investor and Analyst Site Visit in India
Mothercare plc is hosting an investor and analyst event in New Delhi, India, from 8 - 10 December, 2010.
Mothercare's senior management team and joint venture partners will host site tours and give detailed presentations on Mothercare's International business and its business in India. Mothercare's largest franchise partner will also present on its business in the Middle East and Russia.
The presentation on 9 December includes the following new guidance:
·; Total overseas Network Sales expected to double to around £1 billion by 2014
·; 175 new overseas stores to open in current year 2010/11 (increased from 150)
·; 150 new overseas stores to open per annum from 2011/12 (increased from 100), increasing overseas retail space by 15-20% per annum
·; 70 stores to be open in India by March 2011, growing to at least 200 by March 2015
·; International profit margin on Network Sales targeted to increase by 20-30 basis points per annum (increased from 10-20)
