The Company announces that Mr Philip Mountford is stepping down as Chief Executive by mutual agreement. Philip will resign from the Board with effect from 19 January 2009 and will be leaving the Company on 31 January 2009. Mr Brian Brick, who has been a Non-Executive Director of the Company since 20 August 2008, will be appointed interim Chief Executive.
Mr Philip Mountford joined the Board on 29 April 2002 as Trading Director and became Chief Executive on 6 February 2004. During this time Philip has contributed an immense amount to the Company and has led it through some challenging trading conditions.
The Company also announces that Mr Bernie Myers is stepping down as a Non-Executive Director of the Company with effect from 19 January 2009. Bernie joined the Board as a Non-Executive Director and the Company's Senior Non-Executive Director on 13 August 2001.
The Board has started the process of recruiting new independent Non-Executive Directors.
