Moss Bros Group PLC04 July 2006 Change in Substantial Shareholding Moss Bros Group Plc ("the Company") has today received notice under Section 198of the Companies Act 1985 ("the Act") that Unity Investments ehf ("Unity") hasacquired an interest in 26,896,932 ordinary shares of 5 pence each ("theShares") of the Company. The registered holder of the 26,896,932 Shares remainsCantor Fitzgerald Europe. The 26,896,932 Shares represents 28.75% of the issued ordinary share capital ofthe Company. Within the same notice, the Company has also been advised that Mr Kevin Stanfordno longer has an interest under section 198 of the Act in the 26,896,932 Shares.However, Mr Stanford continues to have an interest in the Shares by virtue ofsections 204 and 205 of the Act. Pursuant to sections 204 and 205 of the Acteach of Unity, Baugur, FL Group and Mr Kevin Stanford are parties to anagreement to which section 204 of the Act applies and each is interested in anaggregate of the 26,896,932 Shares.
