APPOINTMENT OF CHIEF EXECUTIVE

Moss Bros Group Plc ("the Company") is pleased to announce that Brian Brick has been appointed Chief Executive with effect from 19 March 2009. Brian joined the Company on 1 September 2008 as a Non-Executive Director and took on the role of Interim Chief Executive on 19 January this year. Brian has a wealth of experience in the menswear retail sector. He was Managing Director of the Speciality Retail Group that included the Suits You fascia, which he built up and then successfully sold in 2005.

Commenting on his appointment, David Adams, Chairman said:

"Brian is the right person to lead the Company through what will be an extremely challenging period for the retail sector. He has a proven track record in the menswear sector and has the experience together with the senior management team to guide the Company through the current recession and ensure the Company maintains its position as the UK's No. 1 branded suit specialist."

The Company will announce its preliminary results for the year ended 31 January 2009 on 26 March 2009.

There are no further disclosures to be made pursuant to the requirements of paragraph LR 9.6.13 R of the Listing Rules.
