Appointment of CFO and CEO

Mortice (AIM:MORT) the AIM listed security and facilities management company with India focused operations, is pleased to announce the non-board appointments of Mr. Basil Arun Keelor as Group CEO and Mr. Vishnu Sultania as Group CFO, both with immediate effect.

Mr. Basil Arun Keelor - Group CEO

Basil is an ex-marine engineer with a degree in Marine Engineering from Southampton University, UK. He has more than 30 years' experience in Marine Engineering, Real Estate, Property Management and Facilities Management, working for various companies including Denholm Shipping Company, ITC Welcomgroup Hotels, Thyssen Krupp Industries, Svedala Industri AB, CB Richard Ellis, Jones Lang LaSalle and Bharti [Airtel Limited?]. Most recently, Basil was Senior Vice President and Group Head - Administration of Essar Group (Mumbai office) where he was responsible for managing the administrative services for facilities ranging from corporate commercial space to industrial facilities and industrial townships located across 21 countries.

Commenting on Basil's appointment Mr. Manjit Rajain, Chairman of Mortice, said, "We welcome Mr. Basil Keelor and look forward to his contribution from the years of professional experience gained by him in various positions that he has held in the past."

Mr. Vishnu Sultania - Group CFO

Vishnu is a Chartered Accountant and a Company Secretary with 19 years post qualification experience having worked with various multinational companies including Telstra Corporation Limited, Verint Systems Inc., BCL Secure Premises Pvt. Ltd. Most recently, Vishnu was Director of Finance-South Asia for OCS Group, operating out of Gurgaon.

Commenting on Vishnu's appointment, Mr. Manjit Rajain, Chairman of Mortice, said, "We welcome Mr. Vishnu Sultania and his comprehensive experience in both upstream and downstream integration [what does this mean?] and financial reporting for leading companies. This expertise will be invaluable in assisting the growth of Mortice Group, particularly in evaluating and undertaking acquisition, investment and strategic opportunities. We continue to see significant expansion of our facilities management and guarding and with his strong experience in all aspects of finance, Mr. Sultania will further enhance the robustness of our financial and accounting systems and processes."
