Retirement of Group CEO
Millennium & Copthorne Hotels plc (M&C) announces today that Aloysius Lee, Director and Group Chief Executive Officer, has notified the Board of his impending retirement and has requested that his retirement take effect as of 31 January 2017, thereby completing a full two-year tenure, in order to pursue philanthropic, mentoring and educational interests. Mr Lee, 68, joined the Group on 1 February 2015, first as Group CEO designate and then as a Director and Group CEO. The Board will consider his request at its forthcoming meeting in September and a further update will be provided in due course.
