Announcement re Chairman
Mincon Group plc, the Shannon-headquartered mining equipment manufacturer, announces that its Chairman, Padraig McManus, has informed the Board that he will not be seeking re-election at the AGM in 2017.
Mr. McManus, who has served as Chairman for over two years said "Mincon's reputation for excellence has been built on the hard work of its founders and employees over the past 39 years. I have had the pleasure of being part of that team for the past three years, a period of continuing dynamic growth for the company. Mincon has proven itself to be extremely resilient in spite of difficult global circumstances and given the level of experience, energy and innovative skills in the company, I expect that success to continue".
Joe Purcell, CEO said "I would like to thank Padraig for his contribution and guidance during his time on the Board. This has been highly valuable during a transformative period for the Group since its IPO in 2013 and we look forward to his continued input over the coming months until the AGM in 2017."
