TheΒ senior executives ofΒ the private equity division ofΒ Aberdeen AssetΒ Managers, the Company's investment manager,Β have completed a management buyoutΒ of that business and have formedΒ Maven Capital PartnersΒ UKΒ LLPΒ ('Maven') as a specialist,Β independentΒ private equity investment manager.Β
Having reviewed the existing management contract andΒ ascertained that it is satisfied withΒ the performance of the Manager,Β and having made enquiriesΒ about the resources and viability of Maven, the Board hasΒ electedΒ to novate the management contract in favour of MavenΒ with effect from 9 June 2009.Β
