Holding in Company
The Company was notified on 6 September by the Prudential plc Group of Companies ("Prudential") that funds managed by Prudential are interested in 24,040,454 of the Company's ordinary shares of 1p each ("Ordinary Shares") which represents 14.62 per cent of the Company's issued ordinary share capital.
Also on 6 September, the Company was notified by M&G Investment Funds 3, an Open Ended Investment Company ("OEIC") and not a Prudential Group Company, that funds managed by M&G Investment Funds 3 are interested in 18,346,982 of the Company's ordinary shares of 1p each ("Ordinary Shares") which represents 11.16 per cent of the Company's issued ordinary share capital. NB:This OEIC Fund is managed by M&G Investment Management Limited (a wholly owned subsidiary of Prudential plc) and will have been previously attributed to Prudential plc solely on the basis that M&G Investment Management Limited has direct fund management control over the shares identified in this notification. Therefore the 11.16% holding being disclosed in this notification is encompassed in the 14.62% already disclosed under The Prudential plc Group of Companies as stated above and is NOT in addition to it.
