Resignation of a director
Latchways, a company engaged in the manufacture of fall protection systems, announces that Per Troen has resigned from the Board of Directors with immediate effect. In July of this year, Mr Troen took up a new position with a company in Switzerland and has since based himself there. He has come to realise that this move together with his other commitments, has made it difficult to devote sufficient time to his duties with Latchways.
Mr Troen has been a non-executive director of Latchways for 7 years and the Board would like to thank him for his contribution to the development of the Company.
Paul Hearson, chairman of the Company, commented: "Per has been a valuable member of the Latchways' Board and his helpful insights have always been welcome. The entire Board wishes him well and thanks him for his loyal service."
The Nominations Committee of Latchways meets frequently to review the composition of the Board and will address a replacement for Mr Troen at an early date.
