Lombard Risk Management PLC08 February 2006 Directorate Change Lombard Risk Management plc 8th February 2006 Appointment of Director The Board of Lombard Risk Management plc ("Lombard Risk" or the "Company") isdelighted to announce the appointment of Michael Thomas to the board withimmediate effect. Mr. Thomas was CEO of STB Systems Limited, which became part of the Lombard Riskgroup in August 2005. He was a co-founder of STB Systems in 1984 and has led thecompany since 1985, taking it into the regulatory reporting market in 1993 andthereafter driving it into market leadership in the UK with around 130 out of350 UK banks now using STB for regulatory reporting. Prior to establishing STB,Michael worked in the IT units of several international banks, including SocieteGenerale, Chemical Bank and Chase Manhattan, where he managed the bank'sregional computer audit group. This appointment follows the successful completion of the first part of theearn-out by STB Systems announced to the market on 22nd December 2005. Mr.Thomas will remain CEO of STB Systems Limited. Over several years he has ledSTB's business development in Asia, and he will also now assume boardresponsibility for the Lombard Risk group's business in Asia including the newoffice in Shanghai. Mr. Thomas owns 3,811,700 shares in the Company, equivalent to 2.92% of theissued share capital. In the event that the STB earn-out pays out in full in mid2006, he is eligible to receive up to a further 23% of the maximum 5,000,000shares that could be issued at that time.
