Appointment of Chief Financial Officer

Laird PLC is pleased to announce the appointment of Kevin Dangerfield as its new Chief Financial Officer. He will take up his new role and join the Board as an Executive Director of the Company with effect from 17 October 2016. Kevin succeeds Tony Quinlan who was appointed Chief Executive Officer on 5 September 2016.

Kevin has spent sixteen years at Morgan Advanced Materials plc, almost ten of which as Chief Financial Officer, and ultimately for a short period as Interim Chief Executive. He is a highly experienced CFO with a considerable depth of knowledge and understanding of complex global manufacturing operations; a very good fit for Laird. He is a qualified chartered accountant and a non-executive director of E2V Technologies PLC where he is chairman of the audit committee.

Tony Quinlan, CEO of the Company, said:
