Lonrho Africa PLC27 April 2006 27 April 2006 Lonrho Africa Plc ("Lonrho Africa" or "the Company") Holding in Company Lonrho Africa was notified yesterday, in accordance with Section 198 of theCompanies Act 1985, as amended by Section 134 of the Companies Act 1989, thatfollowing the sale of 1,100,000 ordinary shares of 1 pence each in the sharecapital of the Company ("Shares"), on 25 April 2006 North Atlantic Value LLP asdiscretionary manager was interested in 6,930,000 Shares representingapproximately 4.4 per cent. of the issued ordinary share capital of the Company. This includes a holding of 2,645,161 Shares by Oryx International Growth FundLimited, which is listed on the London Stock Exchange, and managed by NorthAtlantic Value LLP.
