Lansdowne Oil & Gas plc26 June 2007 26 June 2007 LANSDOWNE OIL & GAS plc Notification of change in major interest in shares Lansdowne Oil & Gas plc ("the Company"), announces that it was notified earliertoday that following a disposal by its parent company, Ramco Hibernia Limited, awholly-owned subsidiary of Ramco Energy plc, LC Capital Master Fund, Ltd ("LC")is now the holder of 5,225,000 ordinary shares in the Company, representing 25.1per cent. of the issued share capital and the voting rights of the Company.Ramco Hibernia Limited retains 12,728,308 ordinary shares in the Company,representing 61.15 per cent. of the issued share capital and the voting rightsof the Company. Ramco Hibernia Limited is party to a Relationship Agreement with the Company,entered into at the time the Company joined the AIM Market in April 2006. TheCompany's Nominated Adviser, John East & Partners Limited, has given writtenconsent to the disposal as required by the Relationship Agreement. In addition, LC has undertaken to John East & Partners Limited and the Companynot to dispose of any interests in ordinary shares in the Company (subject tocertain limited exceptions) until 21 April 2008 without the prior writtenconsent of John East & Partners Limited, such consent not to be unreasonablywithheld or delayed.
