Resignation of Non-Executive Director and Appointment of New Non-Executive Director

Lansdowne Oil & Gas plc (AIM: LOGP) ("Lansdowne" or the "Company"), the Dublin-based exploration company, announces the resignation of Non-Executive Director Steven Bertram with immediate effect. The Board of Lansdowne wishes to record its thanks to Mr Bertram for his service to the Company.

The Company also announces that it has appointed John Aldersey-Williams (aged 50) to the Board of Lansdowne as a Non-Executive Director, also with immediate effect.

John Aldersey-Williams has worked in the energy business for more than 25 years. In 2001, he founded Redfield Consulting Limited, a consultancy offering commercial, strategic and economic advice to companies across the zero-carbon energy space. Redfield advised public and private sector clients in wind and marine energy, as well as in carbon capture and storage and policy areas. He was also a founder Director of Reach Exploration Limited, a small UK oil exploration company which pioneered the "promote" business model on the UKCS. Prior to this, he held a number of commercial and technical roles in the upstream oil industry, as well as three years in a specialist energy corporate finance team in a leading merchant bank.

Mr Aldersey-Williams has confirmed that there are no other matters to be disclosed in relation to Schedule 2(g) of the AIM Rules.
