Logica announces new non-executive directors

Logica plc is pleased to announce the appointments in early 2009 of Sergio Giacoletto and Frĩdĩric Rose as non-executive directors.

Sergio Giacoletto retires this month from Oracle Corporation, having served as Executive Vice-President, EMEA since 2000. Frĩdĩric Rose became CEO of Thomson SA in September 2008.

Mr. Giacoletto will join the Board on 24 February 2009 and Mr. Rose will join at the next Annual General Meeting on 30 April 2009.

These appointments will follow the retirement of non-executive directors Wim Dik and Gĩrard Philippot at the AGM. Mr. Dik joined the Board as a non-executive director in December 2002, having been a non-executive director of CMG since 2001. He has been a very important contributor to the decisions of the Board over many years. Mr. Philippot was appointed non-executive director of the Board in October 2005, following the acquisition of Unilog where he was President for thirteen years. In particular, he has brought valuable insight into the French market to the Board.

Sergio Giacoletto has been Executive Vice-President, EMEA, and a member of the Executive Committee at Oracle Corporation from 2000 until his retirement this month. Prior to joining Oracle, he had responsibility for AT&T International's European services business (1994-1997) and held a number of European executive roles with a focus on services over twenty years with Digital Equipment Corporation. He is currently a non-executive director of CSR plc.

Frĩdĩric Rose became CEO of video solutions company Thomson SA in September 2008, following a 15 year career at Alcatel-Lucent. While at Alcatel-Lucent, he served on the Executive Committee. In his last role, he was Executive Vice President, President, Europe, Africa and Asia. Between 2000 and 2006, he was Division President, Integration and Services as well as COO, Network Services.
