Logica appoints Chief Executive Global Operations

Logica, the European IT and business services company, has appointed Craig Boundy into the position of Chief Executive Global Operations. Boundy will also join Logica's Executive Committee.

Boundy will be responsible for the management of Logica's blended delivery programme, consolidating tools and processes across the business and managing the company's offshore centres, currently based in India, the Philippines and Morocco. He will report to Logica's CEO, Andy Green.

Previously COO of Cable and Wireless' business in Europe, US and Asia, Boundy managed all operations, including customer services, IT and Engineering. He led the programme that transformed the service proposition for clients and improved the cost base worldwide. As part of the role, he developed the company's global sourcing programme, optimising the capabilities that different countries can offer and expanding the company's presence in India and South East Asia. He also managed the integration of the Energis and Bulldog operations, unifying systems and processes.

Prior to working at Cable and Wireless, Craig was COO at Energis and Vice President at BT Ignite.

Logica has made a number of recent announcements regarding its global delivery capability, including the creation of an Outsourcing Services division, the planned new site in Chennai, and a number of senior Indian management appointments.
