Confirmation of discussions between Lenta and Kesko Oyj, Finland ("Kesko") regarding a potential transaction
Lenta today announces that it is in preliminary discussions with Kesko regarding the potential acquisition of Kesko's Russian grocery retail business, which operates 11 stores under the K-Ruoka brand in and around St. Petersburg. The Company and Kesko have at present not reached an agreement with respect to the potential transaction and there can be no certainty that these discussions will lead to a transaction, or the terms on which any transaction might be agreed.
