Lenta Announces Appointment of New Board Member
St. Petersburg, Russia, 25 March 2022: Lenta IPJSC (LSE: LNTA, MOEX: LNTA & LENT), one of the largest multi-format retail chains in Russia, today announces the appointment of Elena Petrenko to its Board of Directors, effective 24 March 2022 for a period until the next annual General Meeting of Shareholders of the Company.
Ms. Petrenko has over 15 years of experience in corporate finance and treasury. Elena has joined Lenta in 2019 as Director of Treasury. Prior to joining Lenta, Elena served in numerous senior positions including Head of Corporate Finance and Head of Treasury at PAO Severstal. Ms. Petrenko graduated from Ulyanovsk State University with a degree in Finance and Credit in 2006. Elena is an MBA candidate at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
Lenta's Chief Executive Officer, Vladimir Sorokin, commented:
