Lighthouse Group PLC24 July 2006 Press Release 24 July 2006 Lighthouse Group plc ("Lighthouse" or "the Company") Lighthouse Group strengthens network with two joint ventures LighthouseCarrwood signs agreements with leading regional accountancy firms LighthouseCarrwood, a part of Lighthouse Group plc (AIM: LGH), one of the UK'slargest Independent Financial Adviser groups and pension scheme administrators,has signed new joint ventures with two leading regional accountancy firms;Peters Elworthy & Moore ("PEM") and Clarke Nicklin LLP. The LighthouseCarrwood model consists of salaried advisers based withinaccountancy firms providing bespoke financial services to business owners andhigh-net-worth clients. In one agreement two LighthouseCarrwood advisers will be positioned within theoffices of PEM, based in Cambridge. This independent firm of CharteredAccountants and Chartered Tax Advisors has 14 partners and over 130 staff andwas runner-up in the 'Medium-sized Firm of the Year' category at the AccountancyAge Awards 2005. One adviser will also work within Clarke Nicklin of Stockport, GreaterManchester, in the other joint venture. This firm has five partners and aparticular expertise in providing specialist tax advice, corporate finance andstrategic planning to owner-managed businesses. In the last 18 months, thisapproach has resulted in a dramatic 50% growth in new business.
