Appendix A
Principal risks
The following information is set out on page 2 of the Annual Report 2015:
The ultimate parent company, Ladbrokes plc, reviews and evaluates the key risks and uncertainties faced by the Ladbrokes plc group as part of the divisional reviews undertaken at its regular Board meetings. The impact of risks and uncertainties of the Company is considered as part of this review process.
The Company's principal risks arise from exposure to foreign currencies and interest rate movements arising from the finance related activities and borrowing which it undertakes on behalf of the Ladbrokes plc group. The policies of the Company for managing these exposures and the risk profile of the Company at 31 December 2015 are described in greater detail in notes 16 and 17 of these financial statements. The Company has no other significant risks or uncertainties other than those that arise from being a part of the Ladbrokes plc group, which are dealt with in the Strategic Report presented in the Annual Report and Accounts 2015 of Ladbrokes plc on pages 26 to 30.

Statement of directors' responsibilities
The following information is set out on page 4 of the Annual Report 2015:
Company law requires the directors to prepare financial statements for each financial year. Under that law the directors have prepared the financial statements in accordance with applicable law and United Kingdom Accounting Standards (United Kingdom Generally Accepted Accounting Practice), including Financial Reporting Standard 101 Reduced Disclosure Framework (FRS 101).
