Japan Residential Investment Company Limited (AIM: JRIC), announces that, further to the announcement on 28 May regarding the proposed placing and open offer to raise £35.0 million, a circular has been posted to shareholders providing details of the capital raising and convening an extraordinary general meeting ("EGM") of the Company.
The Company has also posted its Annual Report for the year ended 30 November 2009 to shareholders together with the notice of its annual general meeting ("AGM").
The EGM is to be held at the registered office of the Company, Sarnia House, Le Truchot, St Peter Port, Guernsey, GY1 4NA at 11.00 a.m. on Friday, 18 June 2010. The AGM is expected to be held following the EGM at 11.30 a.m. on that date. Copies of the circular, the annual report and the notice of AGM will shortly be available for viewing on the Company's website: www.jricl.com.
