Journey Group plc, a leading provider of catering services and in-flight products to the international airline and travel industries, today announces its intention to use the authority under Section 701 of the Companies Act 2006 given to the Company at its last annual general meeting held on 15 May 2013 to make market purchases of its own shares (the "Authority") for the purposes of satisfying obligations under the Company's Management Incentive Scheme.
The Company currently intends to use the Authority to purchase up to 500,000 ordinary shares of 25p each ("Ordinary Shares").
Under the terms of the Authority the maximum price that can be paid for an Ordinary Share is 5% above the average of the middle market quotations for an Ordinary Share derived from the London Stock Exchange Daily Official List for the 5 business days immediately preceding the day on which any purchase is made.
