Appointment of Non-Executive Director

ISG plc ("ISG" or the "Group"), the international construction services group, is pleased to announce the appointment of Alun Griffiths as a Non-Executive Director of the Group. He has joined the Board with effect from 5 January 2015.

Alun, 60, has held a number of business management roles in the UK and internationally and worked in a number of corporate roles in HR, strategy and marketing. Until July 2014, he was Group HR director and a main board member at WS Atkins plc, Europe's largest engineering and design consultancy. He recently joined the boards of the structural steel company, Severfield plc, and the Port of London Authority as a non-executive director. He is also a non-executive director of the campaign group Women in Science and Engineering, a member of the Royal Society Diversity Steering Group and a member of the MOD National Employer Advisory Board. Alun is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
