Communication to Shareholders

At the Annual General Meeting of ISG on 8 December 2008, the shareholders of the Company adopted new Articles of Association thereby enabling the Company to make use of new provisions within the Companies Act 2006 regarding the ways that a company is permitted to communicate with its shareholders.

Consequently the Company will in future publish its Interim Report, Annual Report & Accounts, Notice of AGM and similar communications to shareholders on its website at www.isgplc.com. Letters have been sent out to all shareholders of the Company today requesting that they notify the Company if they wish to continue to receive hard copies of Company communications. Those shareholders who do not respond within 28 days of the date of the letter will be deemed to have given consent to website publication of Company communications and will no longer receive hard copies in the post.

By reducing the number of communications sent by post, the Company will not only achieve cost savings it will also reduce the impact that the unnecessary printing and distribution of reports and other communications has on the environment in line with its sustainability strategy, details of which can be found at
