Scrip Dividend Scheme for 2017 Final Dividend
The Company offers shareholders the opportunity to receive new fully paid ordinary shares in the Company, instead of a cash dividend, by participating in the Company's Scrip Dividend Scheme (the "Scrip").
On 9 March 2018, the Company announced a final dividend for the year ended 31 December 2017 of 12 cents (USD) per share for shareholders on the register on 20 April 2018. The scrip reference share price for those who are, or who will elect to become, participants in the Scrip in respect of the Final Dividend is 367.64 pence.
The scrip reference share price is the average of the closing middle market quotation for ordinary shares, derived from the London Stock Exchange Daily Official List, for the five dealing days from and including 19 April 2018.
The payment of a cash dividend will be made in pounds sterling. Based on the exchange rate of $1.4045, the WMReuters GBP/USD 9am fix (London time) four business days prior to the date of announcement of the scrip reference share price, the sterling cash dividend is 8.543966 pence per ordinary share.
The deadline for applications under the Scrip in respect of the 2017 Final Dividend is 17:00 hours (London time) on 3 May 2018.
