Tier One customer extends Geospatial Managed Services contract with Ubisense

Cambridge, UK - Ubisense Group plc ("Ubisense" or the "Company") (LSE:UBI), a market leader in location based smart technology, is pleased to announce the renewal of a significant contract with a long-term, Tier One Cable MSO customer in the United States to provide Managed Services. 

The Managed Services program will provide enterprise geospatial network inventory system support, development and management for the national user base. The expertise of the Ubisense team ensures system performance and reliability in order to meet key operational metrics and also that the system features and capabilities continually evolve and improve with the ever-changing business needs.

Richard Green, Ubisense Chief Executive Officer, said the contract renewal is an important win for the Geospatial business and highlighted the sales momentum across the Group early in the new year.

"We saw sales of our MyWorld software product double over the past 12 months in Geospatial and to announce this significant renewal with a Tier One customer is a strong vote of confidence in our Managed Services offering," he said.

Mr Green added that early sales momentum has also continued with RTLS business making its first indoor-outdoor product sale to the largest truck manufacturer in the United States.

Ubisense has been providing critical geospatial system managed services in the North American market for more than 10 years and has developed a Managed Service Program that has been widely adopted by network operators providing telecom, electric and gas distribution services.
