Global Automotive Manufacturer installs Smart Factory system on seventh production line

Cambridge, UK - Ubisense Group plc ("Ubisense" or the "Company") (AIM: UBI), a market leader in real time location intelligence ("RTLI") solutions, is pleased to announce that a global automotive manufacturer has extended deployment of the Ubisense Smart Factory System to a seventh production line.

The Ubisense Smart Factory System is already operational in six of the manufacturer's facilities worldwide, spanning Europe, North America and Asia. This expansion takes the total number of vehicles tracked to over 1.3 million per annum across all seven lines.

The system runs seamlessly with the global automotive manufacturer's Manufacturing Execution System and integrates into functions from assembly line tool tracking, assembly control, offline tracing, yard management, container management, tote-tracking and line-side supply, and is one of the most advanced suite of Ubisense Smart Factory applications in the world.
