HEADLINE: Issue of Equity
The Board of Invesco Perpetual Enhanced Income Limited (the ‘Company’) announces that it has agreed today to issue and allot 602,852 of the Company’s ordinary shares at a price of 79.9p per share. This allotment is to satisfy secondary market demand and is made under the Company’s block listing facility and the annual authority granted by the Company’s shareholders for such allotments.
Following this issue the total number of ordinary shares in issue is 164,294,855 which should be used as the denominator for calculating interests in the Company.
The Company has no further shares available for issuance under its blocklisting facility. As in previous years, the Company expects at its AGM in January 2018 to seek approval from Shareholders to renew the authority to issue additional ordinary shares on a non-preemptive basis and, until this takes place, there will be no further shares issued under the Company’s issuance programme.
