On 24 May 2022, Permanent TSB Group Holdings plc (the "Company" or "PTSBGH") published its class 1 circular (the "Circular") containing a notice of extraordinary general meeting (the "EGM") in relation to the proposed acquisition of certain elements of the Ulster Bank Retail, SME and Asset Finance business in the Republic of Ireland from NatWest Group plc (the "Transaction") and the issue of new shares to a nominee company of NatWest Group Plc.
At the EGM held earlier today, the ordinary resolutions to approve the Transaction and issue the new shares were duly passed by Shareholders. A summary of poll results for the EGM will shortly be available on the Company's website at:
