Cupid plc (AIM: CUP), a global leader in online dating, will announce its half yearly results for the six months ended 30 June 2013 on Tuesday 24 September 2013.

In response to market queries regarding the 12,379,472 Cupid shares received by Cupid as consideration for the casual assets, the Company confirms that it will continue to hold these shares in treasury for the time being, as opposed to cancelling them. The shares will be taken out of treasury only when the Board considers it appropriate, inter alia, to satisfy share option schemes or as consideration for acquisitions, but no decision has yet been taken in this regard. The Company would notify the market of any re-issuance at the relevant time.
