HYDRODEC GROUP PLC

NEW OHIO REFINERY START UP

Hydrodec Group plc ("Hydrodec" or the "Company") is pleased to advise that on 22nd July the final stage of commissioning and first stage of operations of the Canton, Ohio refinery commenced with first oil feed to the reactors under operating conditions. Independent quality assurance verification of product oil from the plant is now expected to be completed in approximately four weeks.

Chairman John Gunn commented that "First oil into the plant signifies start up of theCanton refinery ahead of schedule and within the original budget. The Board of the Company commends the whole team involved with the Canton project."
