Harvey Nash to provide Alcatel-Lucent Deutschland AG with line delivery and engineering services

The Harvey Nash Group plc announces a new contract with Alcatel-Lucent Deutschland to provide line delivery and technology engineering services in the field of fixed telecommunications for several Alcatel-Lucent mature products over a multi-year term worth €43 million.

The contract further enhances Harvey Nash's established wireless technology development and maintenance services, to combine considerable fixed line skills with our market leading wireless development centre in Nuremberg, Germany, and our offshore application development centre in Vietnam.

Services will be delivered through an alliance with Wipro Limited and Nash Technologies, a Harvey Nash subsidiary, based on a Framework Agreement.

Under the terms of the agreement a new Harvey Nash development centre in Stuttgart, Germany, has been established.

Commenting on the contract, Albert Ellis, the Chief Executive of Harvey Nash, said:

"This new agreement further strengthens our strategic outsourcing division, extending our portfolio of services in wireless and fixed line telecommunications, complementing our substantial expertise in software maintenance, application development and end to end project delivery. This new project represents another important milestone in our long term partnership with Alcatel-Lucent."
