TOTAL VOTING RIGHTS

In accordance with Disclosure and Transparency Rule 5.6.1, the Company hereby notifies the market that as at 30 September 2015 the issued share capital of the Company comprises 721,447,413 ordinary shares of 10 pence each. All of the shares carry voting rights of one vote per share. The Company holds 1,546,341 ordinary shares of 10 pence each in treasury.

Therefore the total number of voting rights in issue in the Company is 719,901,072.

The figure of 719,901,072 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
