Hansteen (LSE: HSTN), the investor in UK and continental European real estate, announces that it was notified on 1 May 2013 that on 30 April 2013 Rick Lowes, Finance Director, purchased 161,313 ordinary shares of 10p each in the Company from his wife, Mrs Bernadette Linda Lowes, at the market value of 85.3 pence per share and transferred said shares into his self-invested personal pension fund jointly held with Hornbuckle Mitchell Trustees Limited.

Following this purchase and transfer of shares, the combined shareholding of Mr and Mrs Lowes remains unchanged at 704,107 Ordinary shares, representing 0.03% of the total issues share capital of the Company.
