Appointment of Sales Manager

Harvest Minerals Limited, the AIM listed fertiliser development company, is pleased to announce the appointment a new Brazilian based Sales Manager, Mr Lino Furia. The appointment is in line with the Company's strategy to rapidly develop sales of KPfértil, its multi-nutrient, direct application natural fertiliser, and build a strong presence across the Brazilian agriculture sector.

Mr Furia has over 20 years' experience in the management of crop production and the development of new products and markets in Brazil. He has worked with several major fertiliser companies including Vale Fertilisers, Yara Fertilisers and Mosaic Fertilisers and was also previously Marketing Manager of phosphate miner, Rio Verde Minerals. Mr Furia will be responsible for developing the market and increasing sales of KPfértil as well as working alongside the Company's technical team as it looks to optimise the product.

Harvest Executive Chairman Brian McMaster said, "We are delighted to welcome Lino to the team; his contacts and previous experience in developing and selling new fertiliser products in Brazil will be invaluable as we look to build a strong sales pipeline. 

"Recent results from our ongoing agronomic studies highlight the quality of our product and we are confident that it will play a key role as Brazil focuses on hitting its stated target to be self-sufficient in fertilisers by 2020. Our next step is to begin the registration process of KPfértil as a remineraliser by the end of 2017, following which an application for registration as a fertiliser to further broaden the market may be made."
