More Copper and Silver at Doris
Highlights:
·; Final results from the Doris drill program include:
o 1.7m at 2.49% copper and 49g/t silver
o 2.05m at 1.78% copper and 226 g/t silver
·; Seven out of 10 holes drilled at Doris confirm presence of Copper and Silver
Herencia is pleased to announce the final results from a successful 10 hole diamond drill program completed at the Doris prospect located within the Company's 70% owned Paguanta Project (the "Project"), in northern Chile.
Best results from the last four holes included:
o 1.25 metres at 0.35% copper and 24g/t silver from 80.5 metres (DRDD007)
o 2.05 metres at 1.78% copper and 226g/t silver from 93.6 metres (DRDD008)
o 2.65 metres at 0.20% copper, 17g/t silver and 1.49% lead from 67 metres (DRDD009)
o 1.70 metres at 2.49% copper and 49g/t silver from 46.5 metres (DRDD010)
The results above are in addition to those results announced to the market on 10 May 2011 which included:
o 0.6 metres at 1.09% copper and 51g/t silver from 41.0 metres (DRDD001)
o 1.0 metres at 0.23% copper from 5.5 metres (DRDD003)
o 0.5 metres at 0.36% copper and 20g/t silver from 14.1 metres (DRDD006)
o 0.5 metres at 0.64% copper from 19.4 metres (DRDD006)
All widths stated above are down-hole widths. As can be seen, the majority of holes drilled were successful in intersecting copper and silver mineralisation at Doris.
Herencia's Managing Director Michael Bohm commented "We are encouraged by the results from the recent exploration program at Doris, where the presence of copper and silver was confirmed by diamond drilling. We see this as significant in terms of the geological context for the broader Doris/La Rosa 'system' and the porphyry potential for the Paguanta Project. We will review these results and consider the next steps for Doris/La Rosa as we continue to focus on the Patricia Feasibility Study and the ongoing drilling program."
