including 2.00m at 21.0% zinc, 6.3% lead and 337g/t silver from 112m
o 2.00m at 12.0% zinc, 2.7% lead and 56g/t silver from 34m in PTDD089
o 2.00m at 8.5% lead and 301g/t silver from 20m in PTDD089
o 2.00m at 7.4% lead and 229g/t silver from 16m in PTRC112
o 6.35m at 5.6% zinc, 3.9% lead and 261g/t silver from 136.75m in PTDD126
including 3.35m at 8.5% zinc, 5.8% lead and 351g/t silver from 139.75m
·; Results to be included in an upgrade of the Patricia Mineral Resource Estimate planned to be undertaken in May/June 2012
·; Potential exists for existing veins to be extended as mineralisation remains open along strike and down-dip (and up-dip in the case of the Carlos and New Veins)
·; Potential exists for further veins to be discovered to the south and east co-incident with the strong IP geophysical anomaly
·; The 2011 drill program has resulted in:
Ø Improved definition of mineralised structures at Patricia
Ø Extensions to the Carlos Vein
Ø Discovery of a New Vein to the south of Carlos Vein
All assay results have now been received from the 2011 diamond drilling program at Paguanta (Patricia). The program was predominantly an infill drill program. Specific holes were also drilled for the provision of geotechnical information.
Numerous high grade zinc, lead and silver intersections have been returned with widths supporting the use of mechanised mining methods and a new vein has been discovered to the south of Carlos vein with further potential for new discoveries to the south and resource extension and depth and to the east. Assay results from the following holes included:
PTRC113: was drilled to target shallow parts of the Cathedral Vein and returned very high lead and silver grades with a best intersection of:
·; 6.00m at 15.5% lead and 729g/t silver from 38m
including 2.00m at >30.0% lead and 1,480g/t silver from 38m
PTDD089: further assays received from this hole into the Cathedral Vein returning intersections of:
·; 6.00m at 10.4% zinc, 2.9% lead and 150g/t silver from 110m
including 2.00m at 21.0% zinc, 6.3% lead and 337g/t silver from 112m
·; 2.00m at 12.0% zinc, 2.7% lead and 56g/t silver from 34m
·; 2.00m at 8.5% lead and 301g/t silver from 20m
PTRC112: was drilled to target shallow parts of the Cathedral Vein and returned high lead and silver grades with a best intersection of:
·; 2.00m at 7.4% lead and 229g/t silver from 16m in PTRC112
PTDD126: targeting Cathedral Vein and returning a best intersection of:
·; 6.35m at 5.6% zinc, 3.9% lead and 261g/t silver from 136.75m
including 3.35m at 8.5% zinc, 5.8% lead and 351g/t silver from 139.75m
All significant intersections returned to date from this drilling program are presented in Appendix 1.
All assays will be included in an updated Mineral Resource Estimate to be completed by Golder and Associates.
Herencia's Managing Director Michael Bohm commented "These final results from the 2011 drill program have returned some outstanding grades, particularly near surface. Grades of plus 20% zinc, plus 30% lead and plus 1,400g/t silver are a positive way to round out the 2011 program.
Our project team will now work with Golder to finalise an updated Mineral Resource Estimate. We plan for this work to be undertaken in May with a new Mineral Resource Estimate scheduled to be released in late-May or June 2012."
