Appointment of CFO
Nighthawk, the US focused oil development and production company (AIM: HAWK and OTCQX: NHEGY) is pleased to announce that Richard Swindells has agreed to join the Board of Directors as Chief Financial Officer to work alongside Chief Executive Tim Heeley and Executive Chairman, Mike Thomsen.
Richard will join Nighthawk from Ambrian Partners Limited ("Ambrian"), the natural resources focused investment banking subsidiary of Ambrian Capital plc, where he acts as broker and Nominated Adviser to a number of oil and gas and other resources companies. During his three years at Ambrian, he has been responsible for Ambrian's oil and gas investment banking activities and has been involved in raising in excess of £275 million in this sector.
He has gained substantial experience in advising and raising funds for small and mid cap companies over the past 15 years, of which he has spent the past six years with a focus on natural resources, in particular oil and gas. Before joining Ambrian, Richard was at Nabarro Wells & Co Limited, where he was appointed as Chief Executive prior to the sale of the business to Ambrian Capital plc in April 2008, and prior to that he was a director of corporate finance at Panmure Gordon.
Richard remains at Ambrian affecting an orderly handover of his Nominated Adviser duties and client relationships and it is expected that he will take up his new position with Nighthawk in the near future.

Richard John Swindells, aged 37, was a director of Nabarro Wells & Co. Limited when it appointed a liquidator and was placed into voluntary creditors' liquidation on 1 July 2009. The liquidation process is ongoing and the quantum of any deficiency to creditors is yet to be determined. Mr. Swindells has confirmed that there is no further information to be disclosed in accordance with Rule 17 and Schedule Two paragraph (g) of the AIM Rules for Companies.
