H&T Group PLC05 October 2007 H&T Group plc Acquisitions H&T Group plc ( "H&T" or "the Group") is very pleased to announce on 3 Octoberit completed the acquisition of the trade and assets of an independentpawnbroker and cheque casher in South West London. This transaction follows a similar acquisition completed on 24 September inPortsmouth. H&T will retain both businesses at their current locations and looks forward tomaintaining the strong relationships both businesses have with their customers.The Group plans, after an initial period of approximately 6 months to rebrandthe stores under the H&T Pawnbrokers brand. Both acquisitions are currently profitable businesses. Following these acquisitions H&T now operates from 85 outlets.
