Appointment of non-executive director
The Board of Henderson Alternative Strategies Trust plc is pleased to announce the appointment of Mary-Anne McIntyre, as a non-executive director to the Board, with effect from 1 September 2017. Mary-Ann will also join the Audit Committee, Nomination Committee and Management Engagement Committee on appointment.
Mary-Anne brings a wealth of experience from the asset management industry having held roles as Chief Distribution Officer at Old Mutual Wealth, Chief Executive Officer, and an executive director, at OpenWork (2010-2015), Head of European Customer Service Operations at Fidelity International (2006-2010) and Managing Director of Customer Services at Invesco Perpetual (1997-2002). She is a qualified Chartered Accountant and formerly the Group Director, Financial Services Group, of Deloitte (1985-1997).
She is currently member of the Group Audit, Governance and Risk Management Committee of the English Cricket Board and a former Trustee, latterly Chair, of FitzRoy (2004-2017), a charity that supports people with learning disabilities.
