Target 4 Permit Update

Great Western Mining, the AIM (AIM:GWMO) and ESM quoted mineral exploration company with 73 sq. kilometres of mineral claims in south-west Nevada USA, is pleased to provide the following update on the Company's Target 4 exploration project.

Last year GWM appointed Environscientists Inc, Reno, Nevada, to provide project management services, conduct baseline studies and prepare a Plan of Operations for the Target 4 exploration project located entirely on National Forest System lands administered by the United States Forest Service (USFS). Progress is summarised below:

Biological Survey and Report:

Survey completed: 1 July, 2014.

Full report submitted to USFS: 16 September, 2014.

Final version submitted: 24 November, 2014 and deemed complete.

Environscientists conducting Biological Evaluations, estimated to be submitted to USFS 1 March 2015.

Plan of Operations:

Plan of Operations and outline Biological Survey submitted to USFS on August 8 2014.

Comments received from USFS: 22 September 2014

Site visit conducted to review proposal and site conditions: 30 September 2015

Revised Plan submitted to the USFS: 7 January 2015

USFS determination of appropriate bond for Project: Pending

Cultural Survey and Report:

Cultural Survey conducted 17-19 September, 2014.

Report submitted: 19 November 2014

Final version submitted: December 15, 2015

USFS submitted report/determination to State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO): Pending

SHPO Concurrence: Pending

Nevada Division of Environmental Protection (NDEP) Bureau of Mining Regulation and Reclamation (BMRR) Nevada Reclamation Permit Application (NRP):

Plan to be submitted to BMRR: estimated 10 February 2015

BMRR determination of completeness and issuance of Reclamation Permit: Pending
