 Target 4 Drilling Application Submitted

Great Western Mining, the AIM (AIM:GWMO) and ESM quoted mineral exploration company with 73 sq. kilometres of mineral claims in south-west Nevada USA, is pleased to provide the following update on its Target 4 exploration project:

GWM appointed Environscientists Inc, Reno, Nevada, to provide project management services, conduct baseline studies, and prepare a Plan of Operations for the Target 4 exploration project located entirely on National Forest System lands administered by the United States Forest Service (USFS).

GWM is pleased to report the following progress on the drilling permit application to the USFS:

Biological Survey and Report:

Survey completed on July 1, 2014.

Full report scheduled for submission to USFS on September 5 2014.

Plan of Operations:

Plan of Operations, and outline Biological Survey, submitted to USFS on August 8 2014.

Cultural Survey and Report:

ARPA (Archaeological Resources Protection Act) Permit scheduled to be issued by USFS on September 5 2014, Cultural Survey scheduled to commence September 8 2014.

Nevada Reclamation Permit:

Application scheduled for submission September 5 2014.

"GWM and Environscientists have worked closely with the USFS on our Target 4 exploration project, which is the Company's second major prospect in the Marietta District, Mineral County, Nevada. Target 4 is approximately three miles from M2-Smith, where the Company recently announced the completion of its Phase 2 drilling programme aimed at establishing a maiden JORC resource. The Company is planning a 9-12 hole discovery level drilling programme to test the thickness of the copper oxides and the character of the copper sulphides at Target 4. The Company will update the market as soon as the permits have been received and with an estimate of when drilling will commence."
