GUS PLC02 August 2005 GUS plc ("THE COMPANY") INTERESTS IN CONNECTION WITH THE GUS PLC PERFORMANCE SHARE PLAN In June and July 2002 the Company made awards under its Performance Share Planwith such awards taking the form of a deferred right to acquire shares at nocost to the participant. The vesting of such awards is subject to performanceconditions and the conditions in respect of these awards have now beensatisfied. Details in respect of the vesting of awards to directors wereannounced on 7 June 2005.
