Gas Turbine Efficiency PLC30 January 2006 30 January 2006 Gas Turbine Efficiency plc GTE appoints Tom Wagner as Chief Technology Officer Gas Turbine Efficiency plc ("GTE" or "the Company"), a leading supplier ofadvanced high pressure gas turbine cleaning systems, announces the appointmentof Thomas A Wagner as the Company's Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Mr. Wagner, 55, brings more than 30 years' track record in technology leadershipand management in the energy industry. During his career at General Electric(GE), Mr. Wagner held a variety of specific gas turbine related technology rolesincluding Manager of Combustion Engineering, Manager of Field ServiceEngineering, and Manager of Non-Destructive Testing for the GE fleet of GasTurbines. In recent years, he broadened his technology leadership base withpositions of General Manager of Technology for GE's Wind Energy business andGeneral Manager of Technology for GE Generators. In the short term, Mr. Wagner will complement the proven GTE product portfoliowith a strong working knowledge of industrial turbine fleets and end user needs;a broad 'systems' approach to technology solutions; and the application of costeffective technology in the services and aftermarket segment. Longer term, hewill also play a crucial part in developing a more comprehensive range of GTE'scustomer solutions.
