Board Changes and General Update

Board Changes

Golden Saint Resources Ltd (AIM:GSR), the West-African focused diamond and gold exploration company quoted on AIM, announces the following changes to the Company's Board.

To enable Mr Cyril D'Silva to increase his focus on the daily operational aspects of the business in Sierra Leone, the Board has agreed for Cyril to step aside from his current position as Executive Chairman and interim CEO to take up the position of full time CEO and Executive Director on the Board with effect from 6 August 2015.

Effective from 6 August 2015, Mr David McDonald, currently an Executive Director who has a broad understanding of the Company and its business, has taken on the position of Executive Chairman.

Mr D'Silva has good in-country relationships with both the people on the ground and also with the Government of Sierra Leone. As full time CEO Mr D'Silva intends to work closely with the newly appointed technical consultants, Rockforage, and conduct regular visits to the assets in Sierra Leone, the first of which is expected to be made in the next 2 weeks.

General Update

Sierra Leone continues to be a challenging environment in which to operate.

Firstly, the weather conditions have been particularly harsh over the last three months due to heavy rains, and secondly the impact of the Ebola virus has resulted in delays to operating timetables. Despite these challenges GSR has still managed to continue its operations, with a local team running the bulk sampling programme, and has been able to recover good quality diamonds. The Board considers this an achievement for a junior diamond exploration company.

Cyril D'Silva comments: "The Board is fully committed to maximising the value of the GSR assets. Both the appointment of Rockforage and my appointment as full time CEO are strategic decisions to bring the Company to the next level."
