Total Voting Rights

Goldenport Holdings Inc. ("Goldenport" or "the Company"), (LSE: GPRT) the international shipping company that owns and operates a fleet of container and dry-bulk vessels, notifies that the Company's outstanding issued share capital as at close of business on 21 May 2009 consists of 70,591,653 ordinary shares with a nominal value of US$0.01 each with voting rights ("Ordinary Shares"). No Ordinary Shares are held in Treasury; therefore the total number of voting rights in the Company is 70,591,653. 

The above figure of 70,591,653 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the share capital of the Company.

Investors are reminded of the obligation to notify the Company of the acquisition or disposal of holdings of voting rights in the Company resulting from shareholdings or through direct or indirect holdings of relevant financial instruments under Chapter 5 of the Disclosure & Transparency Rules published by the Financial Services Authority.
