Board Change
Goldenport Holdings Inc. ("Goldenport" or "the Company"), (LSE: GPRT) the international shipping company that owns and operates a fleet of dry bulk and container vessels, announces today a change to its Board of Directors.
Barry Martin has informed the Company that he wishes to retire from the Board of Goldenport, effective September 30. Mr. Martin has been a Non-Executive Director since October 2010 and has served on the audit, remuneration and nomination committees.
Chris Walton, Chairman of the Company, stated:
"I would like to thank Mr. Martin for leveraging his extensive shipping finance expertise and making a valuable contribution to the Board over the last five years."
