GAME Digital plc (the "Company" or "GAME Digital") today announces the resignation of Mark Gifford, Chief Financial Officer, with immediate effect.

In order to ensure a smooth transition, Mark will remain with the Company until the end of March 2018 to support Martyn Gibbs, CEO, and the Finance team.

Mark, who joined GAME in August 2015, has been part of the management team overseeing the transformation of the business from a seller of physical products to a provider of gaming entertainment and experiences. He has recently overseen the sale of Multiplay Digital and negotiated new longer-term Spanish bank facilities, leaving the Group in a good position to pursue its strategy, including BELONG. Mark has informed the Board of his intention to leave so that he can focus on his other business and personal interests. The Board has, therefore, commenced an executive search to identify a suitable successor in the role.

Martyn Gibbs, Chief Executive Officer, said:

Mark Gifford said:

I shall be working with the Company to ensure a smooth and effective transition as the Group continues to drive its competitive gaming and esports strategy.
