Angola Drilling Update
Genel Energy plc ('Genel') announces that the Jacaré -1 exploration well on Block 38 offshore Angola (Genel 7.5% working interest) has been plugged and abandoned.
The completion of this well concludes Genel's committed Angola drilling programme. Genel plans no further drilling on either Block 38 or 39.
